Supporting a Community Brand Through Thoughtful Design

As a passionate advocate for supporting local businesses, I dedicate my design expertise to creating impactful, fully functional websites that help emerging brands thrive. The Roost LDN—a rustic rotisserie chicken and salad concept—reimagines the traditional Sunday roast with a modern twist. While production on their website is currently paused due to the founder’s maternity leave, this project represents an exciting opportunity to refine their digital presence, establishing their brand and building their B2C website from 0-1.

A Fresh Look, A Stronger Connection

The Roost LDN project was an exciting opportunity to reimagine a brand that blends rustic charm with modern flair. My vision was to craft a digital experience that reflected the warmth and authenticity of the local Islington restaurant—creating a sense of comfort and approachability. Through thoughtful branding and UI design, I infused earthy tones, subtle textures, and a seamless layout that feels as familiar and homey as a Sunday roast, yet with a contemporary edge. While the project is temporarily paused due to the founder’s maternity leave, this project laid the foundation to ensure that The Roost LDN will have a strong, cohesive digital presence that not only tells their unique story but also connects meaningfully with their audience. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I look forward to seeing the brand evolve as it continues to grow and thrive.
